Emblem
blue color on a flag is a symbol Turkic an origin of the Azerbaijan people,
red color reflects a course on modernization of a society and democracy development, and
green color specifies in an accessory to an Islamic civilization. In the middle of a red strip on both parties of a flag by white color are represented a half moon with an eight-final star.
In the emblem center - fire which on the Arabian means Allah. The colors used on the emblem, are colors of national colors of Azerbaijan. The eight-final star symbolizes eight branches of the Turkic people. From below is located the wreath from ears of wheat and branches oak. The wreath from ears symbolizes riches, fertility. Oak branches symbolize a country antiquity.
